Nastazio in Germany

This past weekend Rob Darden and myself got to travel to Cologne, Germany with Cory “Nasty” Nastazio. Cory is probably one of the funniest guys to travel with. He’s always got something going on that cracks me up all day, like getting a row to himself on the 8hr flight and then a giant over weight guy spotting some open seats and sitting in the row with Cory, ruining his plan to stretch out on the flight and Speaking to anyone in Germany in pure English like he’s still in America, there’s so much going on with that guy its ridiculous.
We didn’t get our bike’s from the airline until the last day of our short trip so we had to practice real quick, qualify and ride finals in one day.
In the finals under lights, under a bridge in Cologne, Nasty put on a show for the thousands of BMX Fans. Flip turndown to massive frontflip to 360 flip the last set may have been his highlight run. Nasty had even bigger plans but when he slipped on his first run he needed two solid runs to count.
Nasty finished 3rd and he was pumped with that considering we received our bikes so late and missed 2 days of practice.
Nasty heads off to Dew 1 in Chicago on Wednesday.
