Over the last few years, we've given our BMX race bikes a total makeover. In 2008 we debuted the Team Issue frame, you know, the frame that Khalen Young rode on his way to winning the ABA #1 Pro title the same year? Interbike 2009 was the debut of our Race Lite frame featuring a double butted top tube, triple butted down tube, fully integrated head tube, tapered seat stays, motocross swing arm influenced chain stay, and super low profile drop out. The Race Lite was well received to say the least, Nic Long won the UCI World Cup last year in Chula Vista aboard the XXL model. What's next? How about a crank, fork, and handlebar? Introducing CLiQ ...
Blazing the trail for CLiQ is the Weaponz crankset. 7000 series aluminum arms, fully heat treated cromoly 24mm spindle, sealed outboard bottom bracket, 104bcd 4 bolt CNC machined spider. This crank is similar in design to a Shimano DXR; it's just lighter and less expensive. A unique thing about this crank is the 177.5mm size option. Not a lot of brands offer this size for a BMX crank. Other sizes include 175mm and 180mm. 1lbs 15oz complete.
Onward to our race handlebar, Addict Bars. This handlebar is 13 butted, fully heat treated 4130 cromo, and weighs in at 1.8lbs. 3 degrees upsweep, 6 degrees back sweep. Two sizes available, 8" and 8.25". Sugar free 16mm crossbar for added weight loss. Matte Black or Chrome.
Lastly is our Finisher Fork. Fully heat treated from head to toe. The Finisher features a CNC machined 1 piece hollow dropout, tapered legs, and a CNC machined steer tube with integrated bearing race and built on top cap. This fork weighs in at 1lb 15oz. Now ask yourself, is it really necessary to use a road bike fork on your BMX bike? We don't really understand it, but I guess that all depends on what CLiQ you're reppin'.
