Greg Watts
Hey, I'm Greg Watts, 23 years old from Santa Cruz, California! I've lived here all of my life, and I can't think of a better place to grow up, especially with all of the good riding spots! Growing up in Santa Cruz was awesome because everyone here seems to be more accepting of action sports. Surfing, skating, mountain biking, moto... you name the sport, and there will always be a good following for it here. I used to race motocross when I was a kid, and started riding mountain bikes when I was like 13. My brother got me into it, and he was friends with Cam McCaul, and Jamie Goldman, so when I met them, I was just trying to keep up.
I started riding at the Post Office jumps, and quickly refined my skills. I got my first sponsor when I was like 15 through a local bike shop that I also worked at. I did the racing thing for a few years and actually won a National title in 2004! Sponsors started to come more easily, but my real passion was freeride, so I started competing and never looked back. I have been a pro for almost 6 years now, and I couldn't be happier with it! Thanks to my sponsors Haro Bikes, Rockstar Energy, Giro, SRAM, Kenda, Gamut, Five Ten shoes, Easton and a few others, I get to travel the world and compete in some pretty awesome places! My summers can get pretty crazy with contests almost every weekend, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! I would probably be doing the same things on a bike even if I didn't get a paycheck from it. I think the thing I like most about it is the freedom to do whatever you want with it. It is my choice to put however much effort I want into my riding, but the more time and effort you put in, the more you get out of it. I do like to do other things besides ride a bike like golfing, go karts, hangin' out on the beach and what not, but mountain bikes are my life so I am gonna put as much effort into it as I can. Besides, I think I'd get bored too easily for any other job!
Mike Steidley

My story starts out the same as most. Ripping around the local trails with my boys and trying to ride up and over every obstacle I could. I went to my first competition at 14 before I even really knew what trials actually was on a basic mountain bike and before freeriding was even a word. That was a pretty fun win! Fast forward to the time I finished high school and I had already traveled the country to compete and ventured to Japan to represent the US in the World Championships. Shortly after finishing college, I started aggressively building out my stunt show program to bring my skills into the limelight and serve as event entertainment. My shows have been feature entertainment on the high-profile Vans Warped Tour, the VW Major Motion Picture Tour, at City Center Las Vegas, and hundreds of marquee cycling events. I've kept true to my roots and compete as often as I can and currently hold 9 US National Trials Championships.
