Despite injury at a crucial time during the 2016 Olympic Year, Brooke Crain rehabbed her injury during the mid-part of the season and came back strong qualifying & finishing 4th at the Olympic Games in Rio. Not letting off of the gas post Rio, Brooke finished the World Cup season with a 2nd place podium at the final round in Sarasota, Florida giving her an overall ranking of 2 for the World Cup season and then she went on to double at the USA BMX Fall Nationals in Lake Perris & finished off the season with a 3rd place at the USA BMX Grand Nationals and 3rd overall for the year.

Heading into the 2017 season, Brooke knows 16 was a solid, consistent year that she can build on and get to the top step of that podium and chase the Elite Women Pro Titles up for grabs.
